I would like to thank Leo, leodro@verizon .net for the great peg mounts. I can't wait to get riding again. they are quality made and easily installed , he even had the pegs along with the mounts. I had drawn up several to make myself, but sometimes I get too carried away with my fabracating , these were simple and look great too.

+1 on the fabrication and quality of these. Very nicely executed. They are a perfect fit for those who have Skyway's sliders.

Leo Drolet's slider highway peg mounts ROCK! Top quality machined aluminum that are as beautiful as they are strong. Service was top-notch as well. I told him I was in a hurry for them and I had them in less than 2 days (Rhode Island to Minnesota)! I added a pair of Kuryaken Long-horn off-sets (4") and now I can stretch my legs completely out. I'm 6'2" with a 34" inseam. I looked at Wild Bills, but they just don't seem to offer enough of a different foot position for me. Sorry, Wild Bill. Sincerely, Jevers

Check out the Technical Discussion Forum for pics. They're under the Leo's slider peg mounts heading. Jevers

I also want the Forum to know what a great guy Leo is and what a nice product his mounts are. Got a set of mounts and pegs 2 weeks ago, and noticed that the mounts were really too small for my Skyway sliders. I called Leo, and he immediately figured out that he sent me the wrong mounts. He has checked the internal diameter of the Skyways, and has a replacement set coming out tomorrow. He has kept me informed with frequent emails, and the mounts he sent me originally, although not perfect, worked perfectly for my 1st Iron Butt run last week. THANKS LEO!!!

Leo..... Thanks for the FOOT PEG MOUNTS. They look great and they will be on this weekend.. I received them in 2 days and I live in Sparks Nv. Now that is great service..

I also got Leo's mounts, I had to cut off some off the back of the mount to make them fit on my frame sliders but after that they work really great and look good.

Thanks Leo!

Leo's slider highway mounts are the way to go!!!

Ordered and payed for on Monday...arrived 1/2 way across the country on Wednesday.

They fit the sliders beautifully and are very well machined. Super comfy!

Thanks, LEO

Comparo...

I had a chance to try the WB pegs on another FJR...but I was unhappy with my shins pressing on the faring.

WB mounts are much less obvious on the bike and look better than the slider position mounts...but they don't

offer much change in position. For me Leo's mounts offer function way over form. I only intend to run with

them on the bike when on long-duration trips anyway.

I've been using Leo's mounts since November '07. They connect Kuryakyn (large) ISO folding pegs to my aluminum sliders, which are about the same diameter. I didn't think to use Loctite on the threads of the small allen screws which hold the mounts to the sliders. So when I got to work 2 weeks ago, one slider had lost the whole setup! They were folded up out of the way, and I didn't see, hear, or feel their exit from the FJR.

Well, you can't buy one Kuryakyn footpeg, so I had to invest another $50 for a pair. But after contacting Leo, he had me send the remaining mount back to him. He received on Friday, duplicated it in his shop, and shipped it, on Saturday. I'm talking 24-hour turnaround here, folks! And then, the rascal would not let me pay him for it, even though MY negligence caused the whole problem.

I cannot say enough good about Leo: Product quality, price, quick service, warranty. Thanks a Million!!!

I am with you there Phil...Leo's products and service are outstanding. I love my mounts he made and they sure helped me on my SS1000 a few weeks back.

I was very impressed with the quality of the mounts and the comfort that they provide. Very quick delivery and Leo was very helpful in answering my questions. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a way to stretch their legs on long rides.

Leo - Thanks for the quick delivery! They look great, have a quality build and clearance will not be a problem.

Do you have a link to his site so that I can view his product?

One minor issue - easily resolved. I installed Leo's pegs in Motovation sliders. When I tightened the set screws they "squeezed" the brackt out of the slider leaving a gap about the thickness of a credit card. I wrote to Leo who responded promptly with the suggestion to drill a little dimple in the bracket just outside the mark made by the set screws. Did it, and voila! It sucked the brackets right in tight so they now mate perfectly with the face of the slider.

Thanks to Leo for a great product and excellent service, both on itnitial purchase and follow-up. The pegs are awesome. Now I need an excuse to put in a few hundred miles to give them a good workout.
