Stevens to 59er diner breakfast-stick to the ham and eggs, you will be at Coles corner, take 207 toward lk wenatchee ignore the Chumstick hwy turn and head toward Fish Lake, keep on past the lake and it turns into the chiwawa loop road and takes you a little traveled scenic rte to Plain and the Chumstick and than over beaver pass and on toward leavenworth, just before town there is the turn to Pheshastin (Amtrack station sign) it will be a left turn and takes you thru Pheshastin to hwy 2 ( we skipped the Derby Canyon loop on the advice of counsel) took 2 thru Cashmere on to 97 to Orondo and up Waterville grade, always a cool shot especially when there is no traffic, took badger mtn rd, great views over Wenatchee, down to town, back thru Cashmere, over Blewett and at the south end of Blewett was the Liberty Cafe. The cafe is closed the month of March for clean up and stuff but is open the rest of the year from 0700 to 1600hrs, nice folks in there, has been a family owned forever, waitress has been there 14 years. Menu seems reasonably priced it was late afternoon so just had an ice tea (it was warm out). Are talking of having to close Sun. & Mondays if cannot get another cook, phone # is 509 857 2030 to check. Breakfast all day, pancakes stop at eleven. They are at mile marker 152. They have porta pottys for passing travelers, for customers you get the key to the outside restrooms which were super clean and tidy. They are getting the air conditioning up and running which is a good thing. Went to Cle Elum and I-90 home thru Fall city and West valley road. Took the V-Strom and had a hoot, MANY Leos out, must be the sun, had many Ka and K hits with several visuals. Ride safe.
