My new rubbers just came in and I can get a buddy at a local dealer to mount them both cheap...

IF I can get both wheels to him tomorrow night.

Did a search for stands and can't seem to find a recent thread I remember seeing, where someone made a homemade contraption for lifting the bike up from underneath.

Help anybody?

Thanks Warchild. That's almost it.

But I need to lift the entire bike so that both wheels can be removed at the same time.

There was someone who recently posted a T-shaped wooden contraption they had made. That's more of what I am looking for.

If I keep it up for long, I just put a standard issue brick under each side of the stand; it provides the added rock(brick) solid side stability. :D

Both wheels off the ground.

Notice the high-tech 4 X 4's with an old car floormat:

+1 on Pierre's link... that's how I did mine. I've got the bracket sitting around if I ever need it again.
