I am working but I will get you some pictures when i can, you dont have to cut any wires it is plug and play. You undo a wire connector on the left side of the bike and plug into that then route your wires back to the trunk and zip tie them down. There is a wire block thing that you screw wires into but that is part of the accessory harness not the bikes. It is not hard and well worth the results I think. I can send you several pictures of everything but sometime thursday as I am too busy right now. with the kit you do need to buy the fjr accessory piece that makes it plug and play.
Tank's a lot. I'm going for the kit... Looks very nice👌.

hopefully this helps snapped some pics on lunch
Thanks a lot. If you got the time, a pic or two from the back..., just to se where you but them, looking from the outside. Did you go though in just one hole. Looks like it on the picture... But you need both cabels coming through... yes?. You have just one cable coming out on the outside. Is the other one on the other side of the trunk?. Me maby stubid, but is so oki when sombody has done it, an bother shearer it. Helps a lot... Again, thanks. Have a good one👍.

I like the added turn signals on the back side of the bags. No doubt what direction you are turning in the dark.
The light bars break up how wide the bag looks is hanging off the frame from the rear. The decal with large Yamaha tuning forks makes the bags look thinner thinner. I know you can't see it from the seat riding ( Dan ) LOL
What gives me pause.... I hate drilling into my bags for resale.

You need one hole for each led light strip and one hole in the back of the trunk for the connect to the bike. Drill through into the trunk thread the wires through each hole ( A little tricky) connect them inside the trunk then to the rest of the harness, again not hard. When done tidy everything up with the plastic wire holders that are provided. Just dont drill too high on the back of the trunk as I previously mentioned because the locking mechanism is there.

Thank you. I will do it the way you describe. Hopefully it's going well. I looked closer to the trunk. It's possible to take out the inner part, and make a hole in the inner part, and two in the outer part...again thank you for replaying. Ride safe.
Ps.
Going to be some time before I can take the bike out... Snow😱.

I, too, had poor results with the quick connector on the top case and gave up on it and went with a more reliable plug in connector. As far as monitoring your tail/brake lights, I have a solution. I recently picked up a 16 R1200GS that is loaded with accessories including a small red LED light that is wired into the tail/brake lights and comes on when those lights are activated. It is mounted near the right fork cap so it is visible at a glance but not in your line of vision. At night it reflects off the inside of the w/s. It gives me great peace of mind, especially after being nearly rear-ended a few years ago. Ever since that day....
I NEVER EVER;
1. stop in the middle of the lane, especially behind a car,
2. put the bike in neutral,
3. become complacent
I ALWAYS;
1. angle my bike to the left (so if i do get hit, I will get pushed along side of instead of into the car ahead of me),
2. keep my bike in first gear,
3. watch my mirrors
I know most of this is common sense but it is pretty easy to become complacent and combined with today's distracted drivers, this can quickly become a very dangerous if not deadly situation.
Ride safe my friends and remember this.

I agree, when friends say be careful, I tell them; "Everyone Is the Enemy"! I follow that rule every ride. EXSPECIALLY on the highway!! (Some say Freeway) (Some say Interstate) (Some say Expressway) You get the point.... right? 🥳 Happy 2024 everyone!

dont make it harder than it should be, just drill through the case and insert the lights and enjoy.

I too was hesitant, before drilling through my side cases. I used a hole saw on the inside; not a spade drill as shown on YouTube. In the end well worth the anxiety. No one wants to look at, "The Hole of Shame"; every ride. 😝 (That's what stickers are for)

That's exactly how a friend of mine was killed. Stopped at a red light behind a vehicle. The SUV behind apparently didn't see the red light or the stopped vehicles and plowed into her at an estimated 60kph. The impact folded the back of the bike up 90° so the passenger backrest struck her neck just below the helmet.

It's doubtful that the result would have differed if she was angled to the left when struck, but witnesses said she seemed to realize her peril at the last second and turned her bars to the left as if to attempt to escape. Maybe that split second of delay was the difference; it is possible that if she was already aimed at her escape route she might have had enough time to lessen the blow by immediately accelerating.

I am deeply sorry for your loss as well 😔. My nephew was rear-ended in much the same way in Florida. After the cops couldn't immediately find him, they assumed that he had been drinking and fled the scene. It wasn't until the tow truck driver looked through the broken rear window of the topper on the truck that he was pushed into that he was found unconscious. Sober and a little cut up, but for the most part, fine. Just wasn't his time, I guess.

Hi, I think I will take my time doing this. The correct tools are 1.pri.Then figure out where to go through the sidetrunk. Consider splashes from the wheel, backrider, were I will end up whit the wiring, and the look of it. Everything summed up, TAKE MY TIME, and "dryplace" the connectors first. So when I finely make the holes, I'm sure about how it's going to be, when I'm finished 👍🙂.

Hi,
I ordered the Adamorelighings led stripes ( universal 220 mm) from Nippi Norman yesterday, and for some reason the order went twice, an I could see on my acount, that the reserved amount vent twice. When I tried to contact them, they say no, and and deny that the money is with them. The bank says it went through....??. NN I not very helpful, and they're repay is confusing.... Now the money, about 10 000 nok. is somewhere..... So, will be careful to order something from them...
I don't say it is them who's sits on the money, but it makes me wonder.... Read a little about them after the trouble, and there is a lot of bad reviews out there...
I'd like to get the lights, the plug and play unit, Fuzblok, and the harness for the Fuzeblock from " somebodey". I can get it from Admorelighting. com, and the Fuzblok. com, but the shipping is about 1800 nok. About 800 nok on each shipping. Anybody in here with som idea on how to get it from one company....to make the shipping a little bit cheaper.

You do not need fuze block, with these lights. Sorry you are having problems, could you not just order from admore? The admore kit has everything you need. How much in dollars is 800nok? Internet 800nok is 77.58 dollars. With shipping it makes it pretty pricey.
