Last night I noticed that the Right Side ADMORE LED Lighting on my Givi G47 Top Case have ceased to work.

The Left Side Lights continue to work properly

When I attempt to measure voltage at the plug which connects the LED Strip to the Mini Controller Harness I get nothing across any of the terminals.

When I measure voltages in the ADMORE PH-FJR2 Harness I get 12 volts on the Blue Tail Light wire and a flashing voltage – nominal 7v on the Green Right Turn Signal wire.

It appears to me that the Mini Controller has ceased to work.

I checked the multi pin connector that penetrates the GV47 box and there are no bent pins, the connection appears to be solid.

Any Ideas other than the controller has crapped out?

I sent the above info to ADMORE as well, 1 year warranty up last March

Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor not a transvestite. And this isn't pushing me toward admore. I have the factory givi lighting. Looks great, comes installed, but doesn't have brake and blinker features like admore. Keep us posted.

I just replaced the main plug from the Givi 55 case for my Admore lights ($55). Nothing works. Nothing. I have no idea where to begin. At least you can continue to turn left.

Well, I unplugged and plugged everything from the Case Penetration plug on back, then took the heat shrink off of the harness inside the trunk, **** started to work again. There must be an intermittent connection in that harness. Everything measures out OK now and both sides work as well as the two additional LED strips I added in the lower Case Lenses. Much more visible now, if/when they work!

Thanks John. So attack the big heat shrink blob?

I had some intermittent luck just wiggling wires to estanlish that there could be a priblem within before I took it apart.

I bought my bike with a V46 and Admore that wasn't working. Took awhile to track it down. I had to cut the heat shrink inside the lid on the back side of the quick connector and re-solder a wire connection and heat shrink it again.

Pretty sure my problem is similar, they are working today. Got to love intermittent electrical problems :(

I 'guess' the problem with soldered connections is the solder.

It fatigues very easily due to vibration and then fractures leading to the sort of problems you describe.

The heat shrink kind of holds it all together but a fracture is still a fracture..............

I had a similar issue and noticed that a wire to the light array had broken. Simple to fix by splicing and soldering. Since the wires go across the bottom of the case they can take some unintended abuse.

No ****, this morning, the right side (factory) lighting on my givi E55 went out. Karma from reading this thread.

John - any word back from Admore? I had a bad harness outta the box for my universal side-case kit. They replaced it and it's been fine ever since. I also added one of their kits to my Givi some-model-or-other-but-it's-got-patina and that kit has been fine as well.
