If you midwest guys or gals have ever wanted to see a great flattrack race ,Lima 1/2 mile is it!! It is a deep (10"or deeper) crushed limestone surface, and the fast way around it is to twist the throttle wide open and leave it there and throw a 30' rooster tail off the rear tire. 100+HP 325lb. pure bread racing machines in a full lock, wide open slide around a 1/2mile oval!!!!! AWESOME ****!!!!!!! and they only turn 19 of them loose in the Main ,all trying to get to the corner 1st! A nice 9 hour ride from Iowa Sat. and we will be there. Factory teams HD(xr750) Suzuki(TL1000 sleeved down and detuned so they can keep the rear rubber on them for 25 laps),A punched out 550 Vision with Yamaha factory help.(still sorting out but the thing screams and sounds awesome),Factory sponsored Aprillas (fast)and a couple of the new 850 Triumph Bonnevilles that that Factory is helping,(and they scream also). Be there ,or watch om www.liveIsports.com
