Howdy all, I have writen in before and explained that my wife and I took a year off the travel on our bikes, her's R6 I built racks for the bags and trunk, mine is a '03 fjr. We have put 8100 miles on in the last 45 days. I am writing in to let the people who are thinking about buying a fjr for a tourer, that it is second to none. Have had no problems, with the bike anyway. enjoy the ride, Jim

Yeah, this is a sweet machine for distance rides. If you have done any distance on a cruiser type of machine you won't believe how much better the FJR is (& much more fun too)...
