Here's the website....

https://www.centexhumanesociety.com/

I found out yesterday that it burned down. THey lost some animals, and fortunately, I believe they have the rest already in foster homes. But they're going to need help rebuilding and they could use any donations they can get to rebuild and keep those fostered animals medicated if they need it and whatnot. On that website look to the right-hand side and you'll see in RED the "get updates" and information on the shelter and it burning down.

Putting it out there. I'm overseas, but will be donating what little money I can. And those who can, a whole bunch of "little bit" here and there equal up to "a lot" when put together.

Just letting you know. If you can help, it's definitely a worthy cause. I've been there and adopted 2 animals from there in the past and they are great. And of course, tax-deductible if you itemize.

All three of my dogs are from shelters. I am going to send some cash their way when I get home via PayPal.

I'm in for cash; rescue orgs is where all my charitable contributions go. I can only hope that the cats/dogs that died were overcome by smoke early in the fire. I can't imagine the horror of being in a cage with a fire bearing down.

Thanks for putting this out there.
