Location of Alarm

Hi,

I just bought the FJR and was looking to see where the alarm might be located. The LED isn't flashing. I took apart the front panels A, B, C & D (according to manual) and found that the LED wire was cut. The battery has just been replaced but I can't seem to find the alarm. Where would a dealer install such a device? The alarm is a Sola-Larm.

I still haven't taken the seat off the bike... could be there?

That would have been the first place I would have looked.

Hehe... yeah, after removing the front panels I should have just taken the seat off. Nothing like taking the path of most resistance.

Found it under seat. No power going to alarm. Will have to trace it back to the battery... a job for another day
