Locked Up Abroad: "Colombia" on Nat. Geo. TV

I caught it now being shown on National Geographic TV. He's a well known adventure rider and the story is of a ride he was on to the tip of South America. National Geographic listing---I'm sure it will also be shown in Oct., as it premiered @ the end of this month.

All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!

After reading his book....it gave me serious pause about considering an Ultimate Coast to Coast...without really weighing one's route choice. Hard core dude, but I gotta wonder a bit about some of the choices he made going through Columbia to begin with. No harm in flying to Quito.

Glen H. is an amazing adventurer. Read the thread " Striking Viking bums the world " on the ADV board. It makes the Ewan McGregor " Long way round " seem like they were a couple whiny ******* on their " Adventure ".
