I'm not much of a movie critic, but I just finished watching the series Long Way Round (a documentary about two guys who ride their motorcycles from London to NYC) and it was fantastic. I'd highly recommend it to any motorcycle enthusiast. What an adventure across Europe, through Russia, Kazakstan, Mongolia, Siberia, Canada, and the USA. If any of you get the chance to rent or purchase it, do so. It's a five out of five stars.

Agree... Ewan and Charlie do make an interesting pair. I caught the original series on TV, but other than commercials, I imagine it's the same.

I also agree....it's a "must see", especially for the sport touring crowd. I couldn't find it at the local movie rental place, so I bought a copy on Ebay for less than $20, delivered to my front door. It's currently making the rounds with my riding buddies and I'll definitely watch it again when I get it back

Yes excellent adventure!

Pity KTM didn't have the Balls to back em. I guess BMW has received a lot of mileage out of the show eh?

Cheers

Netflix version is the 7 episode set....so that's available in the U.S. at least.

The book Long Way Round is also a very good read. Something to take with you on a road trip, and less costly than the portable DVD player!

Has some good pics in it as well, and you get alternating accounts from charlie and ewan the whole way through which is neat.

(not sure if the movie does that, never seen it....yet)..
