Yeah Baby!! Not my cup of Tea but, Congrats! That's a hell of an accomplishment. I was the end witness for MegaWatts SS1000. From the look on his face, I can tell that it was a Bitch!

Dam,

I got to get me one of those darn things. I have done an unoficial one but I guess that doesn't count. For some reason I love crankin out the miles. This is going to be one of my goals and objectives this coming season.

Congrat's.

Dave

I always hated riding anything over 300 miles on my Superhawk, 400 miles on my VFR, but the FJR seems to have the perfect fit for me to be able to cover some pretty serious (for me) mileage in comfort. I thought it was going to be a fairly grueling 1000 miles but really it turned out to be a piece of cake. I even lost 1.5 hours on my first gas stop when I picked up a nail leaving the truck stop in Ellensburg and had to arrange an emergency tire purchase/swap. The worst part was that the tire delay put us riding into Missoula in much colder temps than expected and cost us an hour and a half of sleep.

I think next up will be a Border to Border ride from Blaine, Wa to the Mexican Border near San Ysidro. It's only 400 miles farther and twelve more hours to do it. I think we'll do the 36 hour blast down and then spend 4 or 5 days working our way back on scenic/entertaining roads.

Congrats dude! Your first SaddleSore is a huge accomplishment and one you will cherish and never forget. I still fondly remember my first one back in July of 2004. How quickly time flies...............

So what IBA # are you?

Fantastic! It is an adventure isn't it?

I'm still trying to get to my next ld ride but either get interrupted by the house, the kids or the weather! As soon as I can get some new shoes on the bike I plan on going anyway!

You have become one of many inspirations!

Congrats 'fuzz! Still remember my SS1000 from 4+ years ago, especially with one of the forum masters setting the initial early AM pace.

B2B sounds like a great way to spend a week...now you got me thinking!

Huge Congrats Superfuzz!

When I got mine, it was like I was granted a key to the country....no...the continent. You realize just how much of this great country you can see in a short amount of time.

Hey now, you didn't exceed the speed limit did yah?

DC you know it's all about keeping the average speed and minimizing time lost when stopping...
