On my way to EOM I passed by exits to Mammoth and Horse Caves. Also a dinasour park right off hwy 65.

Are these any good family places or just tourist traps? My kids are 10,6 and 4.

Family Vacations, ewe.

Mammoth Cave is pretty cool. Been there a couple times both times were actually family vacations as a matter of fact either on the way to Florida or on the way back if I recall correctly.

You 10 year old would probably dig it, and maybe the 6 year old might enjoy some of it. It's a LOT of walking so, even if you do an off-road stroller, you're in for some heavy duty carrying with a 6 and 4 year old.

It's worth a day or half a day I would imaging. I would certainly tie it in with other things like maybe the Kentucky Horse Park, hell take them to Gatlinburg for a weekend retreat. Plenty to do there.

Clingmans Dome, stuff like that.

:D
