Would any one be kind enough to post some pictures of their FJR fitted with auxilliary lights turned on. Thanks so much. I just want to know what it looks like being a shorter bike than a BMW. I'm thinking of getting them fitted.

Yeah. I'm looking for a picture with lights fitted to the forks. You see alot of beemers fitted with them, so I thought fitting it to a yammie would be a nice change of scenary lol. They look like high density fog lights yeah. I actually wanna see a shot of the bike with the lights and not the effect the light has. Thanks.

Not sure what you mean, or what you want..............can you be more specific?

Here's a photo of the Igmeister's set-up..........Hella FF200s (I think ???) a blazing.

Hey. Thats exactly what I meant. Sorry if I confused you. But don't people normally fit them to their forks (suspension)? Have you got a shot of that?

Skooter,Thats not what they refer to as the Playa is it?
YessireeBob. That be the same playa that jumped over the fence into my yard and kicked my dog.

Those that mount to the forks don't provide much additional useful light. They are great for helping you be "seen" by cagers, but don't throw many useful lumens down the road. There are some threads around about the lights (Motolights????) that you are talking about. I am sure somebody will come along and point you in the right direction.

Check with AGIRL. She said she mounts the motolights on her rides and loves them. Maybe she can post some pics for you.

What are cagers?
From Wikipedia:

"Cager is also used by motorcyclists and bicyclists to describe a person who drives a car. Similarly, cars themselves are described as "cages". The term is derived from the common feeling among motorcyclists that driving or riding in a car feels like being trapped in a cage, as well as alluding to the safety cages in modern cars, and to a certain extent the locked-in mindset of "cagers" who refuse to acknowledge the practicality of other modes of transport."

You know...that's the first time I've ever seen this picture. I looking like I'm 'splaining something real important. "If you go to fast....you can't empty all 16 rounds before the target is behind you....and then it's even harder to aim with a pistol over your shoulder."

Did you lose your helmet in a poker game the night before the ride?? , or were you just sitting(looks like you're riding) still while taking a shot?? ATGATT-Serious s--t IMHO>

Yeah Iggy. WTF is up with that. Forget the alcohol and firearms, where the hell is your helmet?!?!

:tease:

If I've learned anything in life I've learned two immutable lies.

1) I promise I'll pull out.

2) What goes on in Gerlach stays in Gerlach.

So, I'll add my own promise and y'all will have to decide if it's a third lie or the truth

I promise I'll never go to Gerlach again and shoot guns from motorcycles without wearing my helmet.

Helmet-shmelmet. I can't believe no one's asked the important question here: "What are you firing?"

When my kids were little I sold my handguns: Beretta 380 auto., Ruger .357, and Charter Arms .38 snub. Just the other day I was coming out of a restaurant and spotted a gun store. In we went. I'd really like to get another handgun now that the children are all grown. They had a beautiful Walther PPK.

If I were to fathom a guess, it looks like a Glock. If I'm right what's the prize??

Now we'd better return to regular programming.
