First # I need is Sunny Side

Second # I have a question for yamaha concerning brake pads on the '06. Not sure who the best person to call is.

1) Sunnyside's webpage lists the phone number as: 1-509-837-2124

2) I seriously doubt we will get any part numbers until the dealers get their new parts "fiche ". You might try your dealer, if you have a good relationship with them. I seriously doubt anyone has good information yet.

There is no number that I am aware of that will get you info on anything about the 06 FJR until as Madmike stated, the 06 parts info is out. And I would not expect that for a while. You can check that yourself on the Yammie website.

What, praytell, would you want to know about 06 brake pads?!?!

Are they electrohydraulically applied via a pushbutton, or does one have to push/pull an anachronistic lever to activate them?

Maybe he hasn't installed his Galfer rotors/pad group buy kit on his current bike, and wants to try them on an '06.

If that's the case, I can answer that.

NO.

That will not work as the 06 with the linked brakes has entirely different calipers and now will use four smaller pads for each piston, instead of the previous two larger ones.

Correct.

The new Nissin calipers are different than the current mono-block R1 calipers the FJR has used since it's inception.
