Looking for some guidance on the Big Island of Hawaii...

I'll be flapping my wings this Thursday 2/26/2015 and heading west to the big island of Hawaii for a little R&R

I"ll be staying in Waikoloa. Looking for must see/must do things to fill a little of that R&R. I will be renting a mc while i'm there. Help with any and all would be greatly appreciated.

Swim w/ dolphins @ the Hilton...

Eat around in Kona ...

Snorkel @ Kailua...

Take a Helicopter ride over Kilauaea...

Ride the bike over to Hilo...

And have 1 for me!!!

Get as close to the active lava flow as you can. It's MELTED ROCK, for heaven's sake! (Pearl Harbor 'resident', 1979-1982.)

We go Big Island often. We never miss a lunch at the Bamboo Restaurant in the little village of Hawi.

Operated out of an old plantation hotel/brothel, they serve authentic Hawaiian food along with a wide variety of Pacific Rim options. Moderately priced
