Loose exhaust screws

I sold a Suzuki 1400 Intruder when I got my FJR. The bolts that held the exhaust pipes to the block had to be tightened about every 4000-5000 miles. That never happened on any Hondas I owned. Has anyone had to tighten the exhaust bolts on the FJR? I don't want to take it apart to check them if I don't have to. :blink:

I have 84k miles on my fjr and never had to tighten them up.

Try using locktite.

Using loctite on a steel bolt in aluminum threads can pull the threads out when you try to remove the bolts!
