I like it! After looking at the fairing I don't think heat is going to be an issue. Looks like they thought about that and airflow looks deflected away. Time will tell.

Me too, but looking forward to seeing one in the flesh to get an idea if some of the components are as cheesy as they look in the photos. Price will be a big factor as well.
+1

The instrumentation appears to be a step down from the FJR and are those cheesy plastic fluid reservoirs mounted on the bars? I'm not a huge fan of the single "techno-pipe" exhaust or the mirrors either.

Something about this bike just doesn't do it for me. Maybe the next generation will. I still like my '05 with the big, goofy FZ-1 mirrors sticking out on the sides. :)

I like it!
Huge rear tire with a 190. I guess it needs a lot of rubber to get the power to the ground. ;) It will be interesting to see how the wide tire affects turn in.

The 190 D221 on the rear of my stock FZ1 turns in plenty easy. All you have to do is think about it and it will fall through a curve. It would be down right twitchy with anything less on the rear, but in comparison, the FZ1 is much lighter than an all out sport/tourer like the big Kaw. All that weight and the suspension set up, with close to the factory ZX14 steering geometry, will have more effect on turn in than a size or two different rear tire.

The Kaw is what it is. Big! ...but all these bike manufacturers know a thing or two about making a bike handle well. The Honda ST and Gold Wing handle deceptively well for huge bikes. I'd say the Concours will be no different. Once you get moving the weight will virtually disappear even in all but the tightest twisties.

With a 190 there is a larger than "normal" contact patch with the road at all times that, depending on the tire compound, can provide a glue like grip. That will be much needed on such a high output machine like the Concours. My guess is that it still won't be quite enough grip for that bike, or the trade off will be that the rears won't wear very well for most riders. You have to pay to play! :yahoo:

All I can say is...

Damn sexy. Very nice curves. Nice bulbous up front in the top. Nice tail section. I'm sure the riding position would do well for most of us. Not to much baggage. Her green shirt is nice to.

As for the bike. Yeah, it looks decent.

Yeah, but you forgot one important fact..............you can't trust her.......after all she is ON TOP of

a concourse instead of an FJR. Someone you definitely wouldn't take home to yahMAMA. :D
