Anyone else going. Its 15 miles away from me so seems like I need to go. Going to go and try and see the drag races on Friday and Saturday and do the Love Ride on Sunday for Charity.

What about a group ride on Thusrday afternoon into the evening to kick it off.

Here are the links for the details.

Props to you for your efforts, time and donations. :good: I do the Ride for Kids every year, but I do kick in for the Love Ride, too. Good luck!

Is this mostly a cruiser event (vendors), or are there typically vendors that would have touring accesories & gear?

I'm in San Diego for the next 7 weeks, looking for stuff to fill in the weekends... Thx.

Mostly a cruiser event, though there are a number of sport bikes, Wings and such. Bring your tassels, you'll fit right in. ;)

twn,
thanks, guess I rode the wrong bike from South Carolina (not). I guess I'll find somewhere to ride to that weekend...
There is plenty of places to ride to. Especially if you havent been here and want to see the sites. Do you want to camp of hotel.

There is Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, Big Bear, Death Valley, Mammoth. If you want you can PM me and I can provide some details. There are some great loops you could do with Pomona being at the end or begining of it. The motorcycle museum in Solvang. There are some rides posted in this section wiht the maps that have been done this year.

We'll be there. Riding the "ride" this year from Glendale HD to Pomona.
Hope the weather holds. It's going to be chilly in the morning.
PM me info if you want to meet up ahead of time and ride together. Rather not get stuck between fiddy ground shakers. Be nice to be around another FJR.

ah.... sorry I didn't see this sooner.

Arrived at Glendale HD around 6:15am. Left around 9:30am for Pomona. I was a bit surprised; not "organized" as I would have thought. Hit the freeway and it was "on." Everyone had the hammer down, like 70mph was slow. I was the lone FJR, and practically the lone Japanese bike, amongst the sea of Harleys. Kinda funny, some of the HDs tried to keep up but it was over when we hit any type of curve on the freeway. ;)

No rain for us, but a bit chilly - for So Cal.
