Just walked out into the garage, and I still love the way this bike looks. I love riding on long and short rides, with or without my wife. I love the feel, the rocket when I twist the wrist, the fall into a long fast corner.

Oh yeah and I love the color, blue blur...

Ahhh, Grashopper, you have "the disease", and there is no known cure. You'll simply learn to relax and enjoy! :yahoo:

I feel the same way.....and have since August of '03 when I brought my '04 home. :yess:

I have the same disease... just with 2 bikes... my FJR and my KLR -

My wife doesn't get it...

But I almost went down to the garage to tell em good night last night... :blush2:

I need therapy... :eek:mg2:

How many times have you just opened the door to the garage, peeked in and smiled at it this winter? My wife loves it too! She always says its soo much better than that old crotch rocket you always tried to get me on... We're still talkin about the bike ;right honey?

:) I'm new here (great board) but just purchased a 08A FJR to go with my 05 Raven R-1. Makes me :) everytime I go to the garage.

I just got back from a "quick" run up to the store... of course, I had to go 30 miles to get to the store 10 miles away :D At one point, I grabbed the throttle like I was still on the KLR (i.e. grabbed a handful with no mercy) and I think I left a brown strip about 40' long. Whoa nelly! :yahoo:

Got back and told the wife to gear up and went on another ride, first ride with her on the FJR. Other then me forgetting to ratchet up the rear suspension (still on all the way soft), I don't think the FJR even noticed her on there...

Hmmm... I think I need to go back to the store... I think I need some blinker fluid and a can of summer air for the tires...

Yes one cannot help but fall in love with the FEEJER. Took the GF out yesterday, our first ride together. AWWWWW.... She enjoyed the feej very much and I too walk out to garage and just marvel at its beauty.

This is my R1 since the feej has come to the garage. :angry2:

**** you *******, I go out and sit on mine in the middle of the freakin winter, it just makes me smile after a hard day at work :)

:yahoo: Toooooooo funny! I thought I was the only one that acted like this,it's no wonder my wife thinks feejer is my girl friends name.

For the first time in a long time I don't have to work long hours at work... so came home, dressed up in extra clothing, and took my baby out for a spin. Within 5 mins it started snowing but no biggie...heated grips work great and it wasn't that cold. In 10 mins it snows harder and the option is do I now only ride for 30 mins instead of the hour I planned? Within 15 mins the snow on my visor is freezing so decided to park it at home. But before I did I revved the engine several times so my neighbors would be swallowed in envy as they were stuck to the television screens.

I am glad I read this post ... I was beginning to wonder if I was becoming obsessed ... obsession doesn't seem so bad with company! I just installed two additonal lights in my garage so they hit the FJR at 45 degree angles and make it sparkle ... sometimes I just lean in ... hit the light switch just to watch her light up. Damn I'm sick.

I need therapy... :eek:mg2:
Lucky for us, riding the FJR *is* therapeutic. :)
Good point - now if this F#%^%$ weather would turn to spring finally, I could get some quality time with her! They are callin for the potential for SNOW around here this week.. :angry2: I am thoroughly disappointed in this "Global Warming"... I want my money back... this is NOT warm!
