The Lucas Oil Indy Mile Grand National Flattrack Race ,that was ran the nite before the moto GP in Sept. Will be shown on the VERSUS channel at 5:00 pm Central time on the "LUCAS OIL MOTORSPORTS HOUR" , on Sunday, NOV.2nd.and again on Nov 6th at 4:00 pm Central time. It ought to be a awesome hour!!!

We got hosed by the time change. It was actually on at 4 pm cst which I discovered when I turned it on at 4:50 pm.

On the bright side, the little bit I saw on TV was a heck of a lot better on the TV than it was in person.

I may take a look at it when they rerun it later in the week... but I'll be checking the schedule carefully.

I got to watch the race on the "VS" channel, yesterday. (Thanks) Great final event and final few laps -- after a couple re-starts.

Fun to watch and a good interview with KR -- telling about the TZ 4-cyl flat-tracker. He said (something-like) it was geared to do (again, s/l) 145 @ 10.5K -- and he looked at the tach a couple times and saw 11.5K." Probably, w/wheel-spin, close to 145? Of course, the thing wouldn't corner. But, in the end, it didn't matter.

Horsepower will decide.....

(IF, you're KR and can ride it....)

El toro , Indy isn't the best for spectating, If you really want to see dirttrack Miling at it's best, Go to THE SPRINGFIELD MILE either on memorial day weekend , or Laborday weekend. The track is ultra smooth, with multiple bike freight train drafting packs, and best of all.......there isn't a bad seat in the house!!! And I have seen multiple photo finishes on the same day !!

Bulls Gap is the one closest to me.

I had thought about going over there, but after the Indy Mile event, and especially after Carr's comments at the start (which several of us who were there as part of the Moto GP weekend took as sort of classless), I have been thinking that I wouldn't bother to take in another one of these first hand.

Based on your recommendation, maybe I'll hit one more, either at Springfield, or at Bull's Gap.

Thanks for the input.
