I just put this on my VFR. Installation was a snap, probably 10 minutes or so. The lock had a pretty good "Wow" factor with some other riders I was with today and it actually came in handy. I never was much of one to be locking the bike but this actually makes it easy to do because I don't have to go digging around inside the tank bag or under the seat for a lock. I guess a couple of thousand miles of riding will tell whether it holds up or not.
