Look's like Dubuque may be a good spot to grab lunch on Saturday. Anyone know of any good restaurants that would be able to handle a group of FJR's? I'm thinking BBQ would be good.

How about you stop at that restaurant (I forget the name) in Balltown, IA?

(North of doo-bu-kay) The only restaurant in tiny Balltown.

Gary from Maple Park, IL (bearguy/"staples" from last years WFO) took me there first weekend of June.

Good food, many bikers/cyclists end up there to eat as there are some good roads in that area.

Mark,

Are you talking about Breitbach's Country Dining/Supper Club?

"Iowa's Oldest Bar and Restaurant" opened in 1853 as a stagecoach stop. Favorites at this homespun eatery include steak, chicken and fresh Mississippi River catfish. 563-552-2220

Sounds like an excellent choice and its right on the route.

They gots Kraut food? Haven't had good Schnitzel in ages, and I recall Iwegians made some of the best.. ;)

Never seen the place, but anyplace that serves catfish and been in business over 150 years can't be bad....right.

:chef: :good:
