Sounds like a plan to me.

It is 273 miles from Victoria to the motel.

We probably will not be able to check in at the time we arrive but maybe we can leave stuff in Hal and jim's room until we can.

Fingers crossed for no rain.

Call me when you get there.

I'm cheap reasonable. Just $5.00 a bag.

Might try to make it down. Can one of you PM me with a cell phone so we can hook up once you're on the ground?

**Edit**

Well, after charging my cell phone, camcorder, and digital camera batteries, and printing out the Google map directions, I went out to get the bike ready.

Hmm.... Instead of 42 psi in the rear tire, I got 20. First time in >1 year of ownership the psi isn't dead on during a check. Get out the flashlight and start spinning that tire, and there it is--a #$&*@ screw! I got pliers and started to mess with it, and hearing that rush of air made me realize I needed to leave it in to get it to the shop in the morning.

So unless I get the bike to the dealer early, and unless they have a tire in stock, and unless they can swap it out fast--I'm a no-show for Pac-Grove. And that after sweet-talking Fang into a kitchen pass.... :(

Ah fudge....

Very cool ride home from Pacific Grove. Fairlane and I took the PCH home. We had perfact weather right upto Santa Barbara, then it poured Rain.

It was a bit wet in the twistie section but about 30 miles down the coast it was dry and we really picked up some speed.
