Maine Ramble Downeast

Next Saturday, September 27th: may be going up the coast to meet up with Gypsy (visiting) and Charlie Hoss. No further details at this time.

Still have a lot of good riding ahead but have not seen anything proposed for "northeast" rides in a while.

No takers to hook up and ride the coast of Maine on Saturday. The forecast doesn't look perfect but if we waited for that we would never ride in the part of the world.

I am planing to meet up with sullivan and Charlie Hoss somewhere near Bar Harbour.

Just told NSRider that I am just going to change weather channels and that's all there is to it. After all, just washed the Nova Scotia mud off the undercarriage last night, so ready to go.

A little cold weather this week and all of the summer commuters have put their wheels away.

Saturday morning ride from South Portland up to Bar Harbor to meet Gypsy and Charlie/Arlene for breakfast. Not sure what Gypsy and Charlie have planned but I would think heading back south on the coast to give Gypsy a head start for Rhode Island on Sunday.

Man!!!!!!! I just about choked. Didn't you just get home after, like, a 20,000 km month or something? I thought you were dead serious until the bottom caught my eye. Good one!!!!

Bought Kevin (NSRider) some oil filters today (PL14610) that Jude will bring home. He was almost ready to make the trip as well. Told him anytime he wants to add Maine to his traveled map. Same to you.

Well given the weather forecast for the weekend I have decided to just blast down to RI rather than ramble the coast of Maine in the rain. When I have more of a schedule I will contact you about picking up Kevin's filters.

There was some scuttlebutt about hooking up with the Gypsy down in S. New England this coming weekend. However, at this point I would be a no-show as I have to get on a plane to loverly WI on Sunday. That damn work gets in the way again... No wonder it's a 4 letter word.
