Damn! That price rocks! I would just be afraid of the, "If it looks to good to be true, then it probably is..........."

Only thing odd I can see so far is that the last time the seller received feedback was March or 2004. 2.5 years ago. I wonder if a scammer has hijacked his identity.

Good luck. If your successful, I am gonna be jealous, cause at that price, I would buy a 2nd one.

There were 5. I'm not alone. But if it is a scam, I can kill the charges. And yeah, I noticed the lack of activity too, but damn..............

I always use my Discover card for online purchases. It has a secure number feature where you get a one-time-only temporary card number to use for each transaction.

I'd be cautious as well. Besides the inactivity it looks like this user was almost always a buyer and only a seller several times.

Be wary my friends. You might get lucky. I know I did once with a set of Hella HID units.

Well, they're gone now. I did save them in my watch list, if anything weird happens I'll contact the other buyers-at least one of which I think is here, right Wayne? ;) As of now, my Paypal payment is unclaimed, sooooooo..........

Right you are Rad. Nothing like $250 shot in the dark. Haven't taken one since WFO. Keep me posted. I don't know **** about Ebay.

I canceled my Paypal payment, and emailed Ebay-still unclaimed, and I suspect an account theft is involved. If not, the seller will write bitchin about not being paid, which I would be happy to make right :D , but unfortunately, I don't think it will come to pass. :angry2:

Is there any downside to waiting 24 hours to cancel? I would like to have the unit. And how do you tell if the payment has not been claimed? Go to your paypal account?

I emailed the guy and gave him 3 hours to respond then did a little research. It looks bogus right now. Payment unclaimed probably means he has no paypal account and the whole deal is a crock. If I don't hear back pronto I will do what rad did. Email ebay and hope the seller comes up with the unit. I would be more then happy to buy it

Yeah Wayne, go to your paypal account and check the status, my guess is the use of a credit card stymied the guy, the reason I used it rather than a debit card. I would suggest you do as I did, and cancel the payment. If the guy is legit, he will contact you looking for payment.

I gave him 3 hours to contact me through a blind email address. I am outa here for the weekend after that. I will cancel at 9:00 PST if I don't hear from him.

He's back, different ID, same 5 2730's, same price. I have reported to EBay, but consider this a war warning, and stay away.
