I have one in Blue that I ordered from Revzilla on closeout last year. I remember that I paid significantly less than $200 although I don't recall the exact price. I do not like the jacket at all. In fact I have been so unhappy with it that I am strongly considering shipping it to Albuquerque.

ya, that doesn't seem right. The Jaunt has been at $199 or less for what seems like years. I bought mine in XL-Tall Hi-Viz a year or two ago (don't recall which seller) for around $150 I believe. Fit is just OK but it has improved as I've been wearing it more and more. I use it as my light weight Spring/Summer jacket with and without the liner. Curious to see what seller says.

That is my experience with them as well. They are giving "Triple Bongo Bucks" credit if you buy it, but the Bongo Bucks are only good for future purchases on their site

Thanks for getting me to look at jackets when I should be polishing off my taxes.

Since I always seem to be falling off my XR650L, I thought I should have an inexpensive jacket so I don't ruin my Latitude. I found an inexpensive Fly Terra Trek 3 jacket on Motorcyclecloseouts.com that should save my hide and not put a big hole in my wallet.

This is their answer regarding the advertised Jaunt.

The Jaunt T2 in red and blue were discontinued and on closeout but the Silver, Black, and Day Glo colors are not on closeout.

Used to be a big FirstGear fan . . . but I think their quality had suffered a bit the last couple years . . . the latest Rainier Jacket the is now on closeout is a prime example. I've managed to replace all my FisrtGear with KLIM that I've found on closeout or great deals via FleaBay and the ADVForum. FirstGear's best jacket, IMHO, is the Kathmandu.

I just bought a helmet from motorcycle closeouts, junk. Advertised as new but was a blem.

Took two-weeks to be delivered and they won't accept it back.

Avoid them at all costs

Yeah, I am a big fan of those guys, and I had that jacket before I bought my stich. I KNOW I've seen that jacket around much cheaper.. I am surprised. It's not worth that much, imho.
