I have had problems with a bulging disc in my lower back, went to physical therapy, lost some of my gut, a series of 3 lumbar epidurals helped some but what really made a difference was using an inversion table 5 to 8 minutes, a couple of times a day. I am now lower back pain free and have been for about 1 year. I think that all of the options helped somewhat and I was able to avoid surgery

I've had a herniated and a bulged disk for years, declined the surgery. Only the exercise helps. Physical therapy is your friend. Now if I could just figure out why my rib hurts so bad from exercise? Pinched nerve, or feels like the muscle is folding under the rib. People keep asking why the lay down sportbike doesn't kill me. I rest my belly on the tank, brace with my knees, and have comfortable rear sets.

My wife blew her back out in yoga class, piece of disk on her sciatic nerve. Two failed disk operations, then a trip to Duke for a fusion. Now she is alright.

This is the kicker! I woke up to the little dog whining. My wife said I poisoned her when I sprayed for ants? Ok. Dog gets X-rays and ends up with a hurt back. $350 later, same drugs as we get. Vet says these little dogs get hurt from jumping around. Two days and it was fine.
