I keep thinking I need a FJR and be in Nevada to ride BBG's because I know it the bike and the wide open roads. :)

I completed my 15th overall BBG yesterday. This was my 10 individual BBG and I have 2 for the BBG 3000 and 3 for the BBG Trifecta.

Yesterday I rode a BBG in memory of our fallen heroes. The destination was the USS Alabama Battleship Park in Mobile, AL. I am a disabled veteran and I wanted to pay honor to those who died for us.

I rode 1520 miles in all kinds of weather. It was 68 ( for us Florida boys that is getting close to electrics time ) at the start and at one point 97 during the day in the panhandle. It rained like hell ( normal for Florida this time of year ) for about 100 miles of the ride. There was heavy fog on Alligator Alley and I think I saw a dead big foot ( really a wild pig ) on the shoulder.

It was good to see a nice crowd at the battleship.

I was able to shave off a whole hour from the last BBG I did back in January. That BBG took 20 hours. :)

If you want to read the ramblings of a old man here is a link to my blog. I use a service that transcribes my voicemail and post it to my blog automaticlly.

I have 3 more planned in October.

Greg,

Good job neighbor!

I am still wondering if I can even pull off a BBG3000 ... much more a Triple shot-

BUTT now I know your secret ;) Dude, 19 hours (?!) I guess I will be riding in your

tail wind (By a couple hours) in October. Wondering if the Texas speed law will be in

effect by then? West Texas/Deer/October Isn't this rutting season for those critters?

Never the less, see you in October, if not in September in the east Tenn. or western

Carolinas.

Thanks. You will do fine. I was able to pick up a nice mug yesterday also.
