From her hubby's FB page:

Mike here, checking in for Wendy, as most of you know Wendy is riding in the Motorcycle Endurance Riders Association (MERA) 10-n-10 Riders endurance challenge. It is a ten day, 10,000 mile, nation wide mc scavenger hunt. Only the best riders in the world partake in this kind of grueling adventure and I am so proud that my wife is one of them.
By now the riders are leaving Salt Lake City in search of BIG POINTS and beautiful riding. Some of this years bonus point opportunities include firing a full auto machine gun, getting a photo of a live alligator, eating at various restraints nation wide, and doing a hot lap on a Racing lawnmower. Speaking of the Racing mower, that bonus takes place right here at the Kernville Airport tomorrow (Friday Aug 24th) from 10am-noon so please come by and support the riders, see some incredible racing mowers and enjoy lunch at the airport cafe. I am also including links to the daily MERA ride reports and to the Group Spot Tracker Page so that you can see where the riders are (with some delay). I will also be updating periodically here on facebook. Here’s the spot:

And the daily updates:

Sending Wendy good wishes for a safe journey and a high ranking finish amongst the participants... she rocks!!! B)

I want to ride a racing lawn mower.....

to finally fulfill my redneck dream

And then retire in a double wide.

Shooting the machine gun while riding the racing mower would likely give me a redneck orgasm.

That's a little too much info Barry

Ray- you know what I am talking about. Hell, you probably have all the stuff or could put it together in a few hours. Forget ride to eat. Ray put together some ride to some crazy stuff. Cannon mounted on nitro tractor? Snow sleds over a pond with home made fireworks? Pumpkin chunkin at Fjr forum admins? The MERA ride is giving me some ideas.

The Michigan is comin' out in me. Must remember that I live on t he West Coast.

It took to long to get my picture out of the post office the last time

Pretty darn cool!

I think I have clue who is who on Spotwalla but will abide by rules and be good.

For once.

I agree with SkootieG,

Go Wendy!

Go Tony!

ps - yer all kicked outta the CBA unless fees are paid by October!

Stupid cat just marched across the keyboard and trashed my typing.

Just saying that I'm having a blast following along, Brian is doing a great job with the daily reports. And the Spotwalla page is priceless! Hoping everyone stays safe and has a great time!

I think this is Tony's first rally too! I could be wrong, but I thought Jim Boone told me as much. Heck of a way to get your feet wet. We all know he can do the rides though!! Good luck to all and beat that Roadrunner!! lol

This has been so much fun following along and reading the daily reports. Really great article in the local Kern newspaper for the lawnmower riding bonus event and thumbs up for the MERA 10n10 event as well as for Wendy too! B)

Link here.

LOVE the newspaper article.

anyone hear any updates from the field beyond Brian's recent daily report? :)

He did do the 8 hr one last yr @ CFO, so technically the 10n10 is his first.

It sounds like all the certs he did in the last 3 yrs has helped him quite a bit here. We did a BBG going into Denver for the IBA convention; it was good to ride with him!

Dunno who is who from the code names Brian has given everyone - well except for "Pathfinder" - but it sounds like 2 women are leading the pack. We'll know soon as aren't they finishing up tonight? So odds are good that Wendy is one of 'em.
