While picking out my new Arai Corsair ( settled on a Hayden Laguna Replica ) yesterday at the bike show in Atlanta, the guy helping me asked me what I rode. Told him I was anxiously waiting the arrival of my FJR. So another fellow also buying a new Arai speaks up and say "me too...!".
Small world........turns out it was a guy by the name of Mel Cooper, from Birgingham, AL. Not sure if you're around here Mel, but hello if you are.
BTW, that was the first time I've seen an '06 up close and in person. Very impressive. Fit and finish seems to be first rate. The blue looked much better than I thought it would, real deep and rich color.
I kept going back to the Yamaha booth and there was always a deep crowd around the FJR.
