Metallica that is! and Pearl Jam

Hard to believe but true. Willie Nelson, BB King, Allman Bros. and my favorite bass player in the world Phil Lesh ( fmr Grateful Dead) will also be playing. Tickets will start at $209.

It's a 3 day cluster fu$k of kick *** jam, patchouli, herbs, stinkin' hippies and 24 hour drum circles, but may be worth the effort to the strong willed connoisseur.

......not to mention a little band by the name of Led Zeppelin
The flyer has a band called Lez Zepplin listed. I figured it was 4 lesse's dressed butch like Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham ( dusty bones, worms and all). Here's an article I just found about them.

Rumors have been floating around about a Led Zepplin reunion after the November concert. Here's a news article about it.

It seems that Robert Plant is the hold up, but he will already be at Bonnaroo with Alison Krauss.

Also it's a 3 ( or 4 if you count thursday night ) day festival with 2 headlining bands. Who's the 3rd? Jack Johnson or Kayne West? I don't think they will be a headliner?

So who is the mysterious 3rd night headliner? ( I think it will probably be Phil Lesh and Friends and there will be no Led Zep reunion, but please let me be WRONG!)

I've heard Led Zeppein will tour, starting later this fall, as soon as Plant is through with his Alison Krauss tour.

Could be wrong, I think I heard that on VH1 classic.

I'm doing my eskimo/shaman dance to raise bonham from the grave.....he may be a bit smelly but that wouldn't be a big change from previously, me thinks/stinks.

Got on my 2006 Bonnaroo shirt as I type now. I had a great time- wish I could remember more. LOL. Went there with people I used to go to Dead shows with and camped with 70,000 people. All I have to say is, "Have a good show!"

You're kidding right? Allison and Union Station is more blue grass (also kick *** btw)... can't make the connection with the Zep. Oh, and maybe Led Zeppein is a blue grass band as opposed to Led Zeppelin?

Alison and Robert Plant have a great new rock album called " Raising Sand" that's some awesome duets.

Thanks, I'll be checking that out.

My understanding is it's just Robert Plant who's coming.

I'm going this year with my sons.

I hope I live to tell the tale.

Or maybe I should say, if I remember anything I really wasn't participating.
