My FJR was delivered to the dealership on Tuesday, April 4. Bags today, April 5. I will pick it up on Saturday or sooner, if it stops snowing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bill, congrats sir, this is good news! I am waiting for my FJR to arrive at Libbys in New Haven....which dealer did you go thru? Let me know if you would like to get together for a ride this season, always looking for a guide to new roads or happy to show off a few of my favorites. Any photos yet?

Don't you just love the snow? Three days ago it hit 70 here in NY - woke up this morning to a couple of inches of the white stuff

What we northerners need is another one of the famous TWN videos. Never met him, but if I see another one of those vidoes he's going to have a camper on his front lawn

Us snowmen would surely HATE to get our new FJR delivered in November, just in time to store it. I think it's great that bpoirier actually has a chance at a full riding season :bleh: Nothing wrong with this picture :lol:

30 degrees this AM for my ride into work, didn't stop this snowman.

This CT waiter is still waiting. Dealer says they at the mercy of Yamaha, Yamaha Cust. Service will not give me a clear date of my delivery, other than they are three weeks behind. I have a hard time believing they are that clueless.

Oh well, the wait goes on.............

I agree Rivgar. It seems to me that if they are being delivered to MA., NJ and NY that our local dealer should at least have word as to when they are coming to CT- even if we have deliveries after the surrounding states.

You will be a happeeee campurr when you ride off on that new FJR! I finally managed to get out for an hour or so on mine tonight after another late meeting, but b4 the predicted rain arrived. Yaassssinnndeedeeee;FTR! FunToRide....nice bike, not perfect but very nice.

Definately feels (handling and ride) better than my '03 did. However I will be needing bar risers and probably another Corbin for my creaky back and oh so touchy new right hip...and now that the left hip has started to go.....

In the meantime I must say I'm sure glad I did get her, despite, as usual, needing a couple of ergonomic tweaks to better fit me; shades of my 1st FJR and my '04 St1300 teakettle, and my 1200R: maybe I should just buy stock in the bar riser and Corbin companies! LOL! Enjoy.....DFO
