Any updates? Looks like it was a damp and cold ride.

Just getting back... Started out as a great day Sat. but it changed quickly to cold and wet...nothing like the Cape Fear weather but it did make for some interesting riding on all the back roads in Maine, NH, Vermont. Fog was also an issue last night. I pulled an Iron Butt Motel but after an hour I woke up absolutely chilled to the bone!! Despite a little bad weather, the rally was a blast. Rob puts on a great show.

BTW: I placed second. James Abbott once again placed first.

One ST1300 rider ended up hitting 2 deer, at separate times, hours apart. He managed to continue riding for hours after the first deer strike but then totalled the bike on the second strike. He was riding the bike that he has just finished preping for the IBR which starts in 4 weeks! I hate forest rats.......

Glad to hear you had a good run, all warmed up for the big one. Sad to hear about the deer strikes.

Congrats Perry! Look out IBR.

My heart goes out to the unlucky ST rider. Hope they're able to pull another ride together quickly. Damn forest rats.
