FWIW - I had that style on my FJR first, a generic 3d printed version. They extend the mirrors a bit, but not as much as using FZ1 mirrors.

I have the FZ1 mirrors. They work most excellent!

I have a pair of FZ1 mirrors from a Gen 2 in a box but from what I understand they won't work, only FZ1 Gen 1 mirrors.

I've put FZ1 mirrors on all 4 of my FJR's. They work great. Instead of looking at my elbows and knuckes in half the mirror and see what is to the side of me, I can actually see what is behind me. In my mind they are just a safer add on. I don't mind the appearance of them. They look like motorcycle mirrors as opposed to the stock ones that looked very much like the ones on my old 2006 chevy impala. If I get another FJR, I'll buy a set of FZ1 mirrors for it.

They work for all Generations?

I had them on My 2004, 2008, 2012, and my 2016. The newer ones you have to dremel a little nub down on the motorcycle mounting surface if you want them to sit flush with the bodywork. Not too difficult. If i can do it anyone can. Well worth it in my opinion.
