The FZ1 mirrors are MUCH EASIER to fold in then the stock ones.

Go with the FZ1's ...

I saw/talked to a guy about two years ago up at deals gap, cant remember what bike he had, doesn't matter, but I noticed he had put some small round mirrors w/adheasive backing, he stuck them on the outer/upper corners of his mirrors and they expanded his viewing area, he said they worked for him! back then I had a cruiser and had no mirror issues, so I was not all that concerned/involved in the discussion. I'm sure someone else has used this same principle, has some first hand knowledge and advice. We need to come up w/a title for all our elbow tucking and checking, if I start walking around and spontaniously/subconciously tucking my elbows, I'm gonna sue mama-yama

I have also put the small round 1" stick on mirrors on my bikes in the past, they are useful. Whats funny is on the FZ1, the mirrors aren't worth a damn. I ended up taking them off and putting on supersport mirrors on the handlebar, much better. I gave the FZ mirrors to my friend who has an 05 FJR. I won't need them on my 06, the mirrors on there are great.

You may want to try some of these mirror options:
