So, I am leaing towards putting in some 'Bigfoot' modular tiles. These are exact knockoffs of the Kiwi tiles but about 30% less which is important when the price of the Bigfoot is pushing the upper limit of what the wife will allow me to spend on the garage floor.

1. Had epoxy in my last house and loved it....works great if your floor isn't sealed and prepped properly. Unfortunately, the previous owner of my house decided to leak oil all over the garage floor and THEN seal it! To remove that would require some nasty solvents, and concrete grinders....not worth it just to lay down some epoxy.

2. I can take the tile with me should we move.

At this point I have decided to go with modular tiles and am STRONGLY leaning towards the bigfoot tile. I have done a lot of reasearch out there and I love the Racedeck tiles, but they are priced in the Porsche range and I am looking for a Chevy or a Ford. Looked into Kiwi, Gladiator and a couple of others but all are pretty costly, relatively speaking. If I had a professional garage it would be one thing but it's my 2 bikes and the wife Fit...all my tools are on the wall in Gladiator Wall Cabinets so nothing heavy to roll around there.

So, does anyone have the 'Bigfoot' tile in their garage? Its distributed by GregSmithEquipment.com and if so can you offer any feedback on it?

For those of you who have other types of modular tile I'd appreciate any feedback as well.

My main concern is twofold:

1. Will the weight of the FJR on it's kickstand and/or stand be too much for the tile and punch through? Doesnt appear to be an issue from what I have read.

2. I jack my car up occasionally to rotate the tires and wondered about that as well. These things are supposedly engineered for between 15k-25k lb's per sq' ft but what about a jack stand with 4 concentrated points in the base? Seems like the safe bet would be to distribute the weight with some plywood just to make sure but I am wondering what other experiences others have had.
