Hey guys Thanks alot for thinkin' of me!! Here I am late to my own party again as usual... Last year it was OM who caught me asleep at the wheel. Yeah, I haven't been around too much [lurked more'n posted] the last year or two [sheesh has it been that long]. Initially it was just 'busy up to my eyeballs' that kept me away for a spell, but then [typical for me] I'm not so smart where it concerns knowing when my plate is full [ha, ..in more ways than one]. So, about a year & a half ago I jumped into another project, one of my 'bucket list' items, and decided to finally build the '53 Bel Air custom/Lowride i've wanted for ages [hopefully I'll post some pics one of these days]. In deep with this'n, as I've taken the 'body off - frame up' approach! So Summer '10, was nearly a 'no-rider' on time constraints alone. Then this Summer, I had figured would be different but it turned into a bust thanks to health issues/injury list conflicts. Having some heart/lung problems which at this point we're think'n we've got pinned down to a severe case of sleep apnea, so I'm hoping those will abate before long. The injury thing made for a truly crappy Summer & and a blown riding season all by it's lonesome. Began the season with a busted humerus [no way humorous] just below the shoulder [my already shot one, natch], about 9wks recov/rehab, which was then followed by a painful 2wk case of gout in my left foot, the favoring of which translated to my left knee to becoming pissed-off to the extent that it wanted 3wks of therapy to get right, 'bout a month ago I was just beginning not to limp & figured the string was over when "not so fast buddy" I stepped of a single-step down I didn't see, ...you guessed it - left knee hit first, ouch! - I just quit using the cane yesterday. Not one ride this Summer. But the plan is to forge ahead despite my aging physical [66yr] self and my [likely to always be] overloaded docket and get out & do some miles next season! So, that's my story & I'm stickin' to it! Once again your salutations are much appreciated, Eric
