So I'm cruising our local jail booking report, you never know who may show up. Then I read this one.....

"PETTY, JENNIFER NANCY 37 2/13/1979 F B16026027 9/8/2016 7:14 PM Y GRASS VALLEY, CA REP Chg # Agency Officer Agency Case Arrest Location Statute Statute Description Bail Court Case # Type 1 NCSO 3860 NCSO B3 B4 DOORS 484(A) PETTY THEFT $0.00 M15-1728 M"

Jennifer Petty gets arrested for petty theft. How petty is that?

I know you're just checking on friends and riding acquaintances, Doug, but when you actually do turn 60 at the end of the month, you'll likely start following the obits in that same local paper . . . like I do. Best part is that, unlike checking on arrested friends and relatives, their policy doesn't require you to subscribe to check on which corpses you may have known.

That is awesome! Almost as good as Anthony Weiner being involved in a sexting scandal where he shows his, uh, wiener.

But as an aside, do you just routinely check your local jail booking report? How does one obtain such a thing?

Did you note that the RCMP officer was named Wrigglesworth? Sounds like the perp was wriggling for all he was worth, too, "shortly before 2 am".
