MIC data illustrates what we already know, that Polaris’ Victory is gaining share at retail. In a competitive industry segment, Polaris is taking share from both Harley Davidson (HDI/$51.87/Market Perform) and Honda (HMC/$29.13) (#1 and #2 market share, respectively, in cruisers with 900cc or greater engines). Although seen as a small player by some, we believe Victory is impacting retail sales on the margin for the larger players.
