Day One (mid-November, 2007):

Day1.jpg

Xmas Eve, 2007

Reassembled.jpg

The astute K8 enthusiast will see a grunch of mods, some cosmetic, some not.....

- hump swapped for grab rail/pillion seat.

- double-bubble tinted Suzuki windscreen

- free OEM hardware Fender Eliminator

- Galfer rotors

- powder-coated footpeg brackets (including the 3 big gnarley socket-head bolts) and muffler hangar bracket

- powder-coated brake lever

- Suzuki Gel Seat w/ Hayabusa stitching

- Michelin Pilot Powers

Mods you can't really make out in the photos:

- Spiegler SS brake lines

- Footpeg Lowering brackets w/ Oberon racing footpegs

- Pazzo Brake lever

- Custom Top Gun Bar End Weights... 22-oz each

Mods you can't see at all:

- Spiegler SS clutch line

- Galfer HH pads

- Happy Devil windscreen ornament

Very sweet, WC -- much improved look (and some nice performance goodies like rotors, levers and brake lines). Have you had the suspension addressed by GPS yet, or is that still on the horizon? Can't wait to see it with a different set of cans on it. (Still voting TiForce from my voyeur's perspective.)

Dale,

It takes a keen eye to anticipate how seemingly small changes to the aesthetics of a composition will change that composition in a dramatically positive way. Nice job doing that here.

I agree, with others, a sticker-ectomy would seem to be called for. If you're fond of the logo, perhaps an alternative expression of that logo in a more subtle medium?

Props!

Bike looks great!

But................................Ahem  ............................

Aren't we forgetting the TOGs??? :swoon:

I hate to be a naysayer and all, but its just another 'Busa "pimp-mobile". Just like hundreds of others. They should change the logo to: "Eewww Yuck!" What are you guys getting all excited about???

BUT, if you ever need a place to hide it and someone to keep it warm in California, I would make room in my garage. :yahoo: :wubsmiley:

Sorry to bump such old news, but I couldn't find this pic when it was a current thread.
