Morning Ride to Mt. Baker

Very foggy in the Valley this morning. I rode east and got

out of it. Then up Hwy 9 to Mt. Baker

A couple of folks were just comming in off the snow.

They had tried to hike but said there was to much of the white stuff

and left.

the mountain was clear today

those folks twisted my arm to let them take this shot

I made sure to follow this advice

No fog when I got back to 0 elevation. Good day for a ride (aren't most?)

Very nice report! We have some real nice roads here in the Southeast, but you folks out West sure have the best scenery.

It's amazing, on that side of the state you guys are freezing, and over here it's hot, Friggin hot. Been up near triple digits, but the thunder storms have cooled it down to the low 90"s. Oh, well, enjoy it all. Soon enough, we'll be complaining about snow.

We were. The final section of the road was closed at that time.
