And the snow continues...
I feel your pain. Only supposed to hit a high of 79 today! Burrrrrr! And yesterday was only 82 or so and WINDY as the cold front came through.

This weather SUCKS!! We should be in the 100s by now. We are being robbed I tell ya!

BTW, TellurideFJR can you tell me what the white building is high on the cliff in the below photo (it's between the two waterfalls). It's just east of Telluride.

Thats the Bridalveil Power-plant. Built around the turn of the century to provide power for the Pandora mill it was also used to provide the power to the first electric street lights in the USA, right here in Telluride. In recent years a guy has been living there and restored the facility to actually work but has decided to move on and will be giving it back to the Idarado mining company. It is a part of the living history of Telluride. If you come to town check in at the museum, they may still be doing tours.

Is the ski area still open?

Weird now for me seeing photos like that in May. Once upon a time however when I lived in the paradise of Rock Springs, WY, for the three years I was there the first major snow storm always came in October, and the last always came in May. It could be 60 degrees one day, and then BAM! 5 inches of snow 4 days later. That crap drove me to Arizona - no snow!
