In practice today Nicky's Honda threw a rod, not only was there the obligatory clouds of blue smoke to be seen, but you could actually see bits flying out of the bike and bouncing down the track!

After Friday practice Stoner leads and the top 15 are covered by less than a second.

thanks for the update. i was watching the live timing and scoring (no video) and couldn't figure out why he couldn't do better than his 1st session times. then i read that he crashed in the a.m., then had electrical problems in the afternoon before it blew up. he'll get a good nights sleep and hopefully he'll be back on pace tomorrow.
