How bout this weather lately?
Anybody wanna get a cup of coffee?

Its been quite a day here in FJRforum land.

So I hear, had a out of town workday, think I'll take my coffee out to the garage , and change oil or something. :dribble:

Man…I love Guzzis. Below is my favorite. Would someone please pass me a towel because I just wet myself. LOL. :dribble:

The MotoGuzzi "Norge" was displayed today at the Milan Bike Show in the livery of Milan's Traffic Police.

For the first time in several years, an Italian police force buys MotoGuzzi motorbikes again.

Most LEOs in Italy ride Beemers these days (R1150RT or F650).

regarding OrangevaleFJR's commentsthe dumbshit writer which in this case is me, is first of all quite upset about copyrighted material from a pay site bein published and forum master not doing a thing about it.

second, the dumbshit writer has tested extensenvly the Triumph ST and thinks the Norge and the ST are not in the same class at all. see my milan-barcelona-milan test on the ST in the site the Norge story has been stolen from.

Thanks for the kind words

The dumbshit writer
I suppose I should visit my inflammatory comments more often. Yossef, I hope you took as much offense to my comments as I did to you breezing by the FJR so nonchalantly: I didn't give it a second thought.

That said, the FJR owns 28% of the sport touring market in the US (per some source I cannot finger) and the Norge clearly seems to be styled a lot more like the FJR than any of the beemers. I think it would be natural to do a more meaningful comparison between the Norge and the FJR. It would mean more to FJR owners, if you would care to enlighten us with comparisons relevant to our experience.

That said, can you provide a link to the site where your story was stolen from? Either that, or let us know what handles better...the ST3 or the Norge? Can you discuss how you compared them in the article that we had a chance to see?

Sorry I called you a dumbshit  without really knowing for sure if you are one. I must say I called you that only for ignoring the FJR and here we are on an FJR forum with all these FJR fans and your article fairly well dismissed our bike as not worthy or comparison. The rest of your article was actually good so I hope you don't think you're a total dumbshit. Just a partial one (JUST JOKING)

That said, can you provide a link to the site where your story was stolen from?
He doesn't need to. A link to a website with a teaser was substituted for the text that was inappropriately copied to this site. You'd have to consult that website about securing access to the full article. I believe it is a charge think.

Recheck the very first post.

Ah yes. I am a subscriber to that site. I suppose I'd be breaking rules if I mentioned Yossef's opinions about the Norge vs. ST3 in this thread?
I don't know about rules, but I'm starting to wonder about judgement. 1) This forum is about FJR's. 2) Limited discussion about other bikes is OK. 3) This thread is about the Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 not the ST3...so it's getting yet farther away from what the forum is about. 4) You've got an understandably pissed off author that's come over here because of a law being broken and nobody asking for permission to begin with.

How about letting the thread die instead?
