Spies 9th in qualifying. He was 12th in morning practice when Towsland was 16th. That's gotta hurt.

I saw a rider (not just any rider, either...) high-side on the warm-up lap -- how dat happen...?

Apparently his traditional warm-up lap procedure involves really trying to warm up the tires. Apparently he went too far.

BTW, Spies was 6th fastest in today's test.

At least there was something exciting about the MotoGP race. Absolutely nothing happened after that! Except for Spies helpin' out his future teammate.

The 250 race, however, with both championship contenders going at least off track. That was fun, and good racin'.

Of course the 125 isn't on until next Tuesday, unless you have a download source . . . .
