Great links!

I like this line of questions (from the 2nd link):

Specifically, how do MOCs (Motorcycle-Only Checkpoints) increase the safety of motorcyclists? Where do the selected states draw their authority to conduct MOCs? Will "probable cause" be required to stop a motorcycle under the terms of this grant program? If so, what will constitute "probable cause?" What types of infractions were recorded by New York law enforcement officials at these checkpoints? What criteria will be used to determine if the MOCs are successful? And, do states have the jurisdiction to inspect vehicles registered in another state?

I sent my little pre-formed letter...with a few additional words centered around tourism dollars and North Georgia.

Imagine if this stuff moved off the slab and onto the prime roads...

Good news! Actually, there IS a bill in Congress (HR 904) to deny DOT the ability to grant funds for motorcycle-only checkpoints: https://capwiz.com/am...lertid=33070516

They also mention how you can write the Georgia governor about this: https://capwiz.com/am...lertid=29963506
Thanks for the links CC. I just fired of a couple of letters to my representative and the Georgia Gov. Hope they know this will impact the tourism revenue of their state as when in the neighborhood, I'll take the long way round' to avoid traveling through there because of this, regardless of how many wheels are under me.
