It's your $$'S but I can tell you the under $20 XXL covers made in China do the job. I have the same one for over 5 years and it is still just fine, no torn seems and it completely covers the bike with bags including the front fender.

I have a Nelson Riggs but I think I would go with the wing with soft windshield cover if I were buying a new one.

Looked at the first 20 pages under "Motorcycle Cover" search and not much to be found on Amazon - unless I wanted a full size cover. A few of those were pretty cheap but unknown and I don't want a full size one anyway. Will also have a look at eBay.

Full-Cover Nelson Rigg, thanks to twistedcricket from Omahell. Works great; packs up nicely and gets strapped below the tailbag.

Covers the front disk brakes, reaches the footpegs, snaps tightly below the hardcases ... and covers my Pelican case topbox.

+1 on EZ-touring. I use the Wanderer Full when not using a topbox and the Traveller when using a topbox.

You're not supposed to ride with the cover on.

I cut a big U-shape around the seat area of my bike cover. I can fold the flap under and ride the bike with the cover on. Since I never take the cover off, I can't confirm if there are any scratches on the paint.

Road visibility at night is poor. May have to cut holes for the headlights.

Aerostich has an ultralite full bike cover that I've used for almost 15 years. Used it on a couple of BMW RT's and on my FJR. Still holding up great. Elastic bottom. covers the full bike including leaving the top case on. Packs up smaller than anything else I've found. It's a good product.

I have this cover also. Got it many years ago when I bought a K100RS and still using it. A little faded but fits the FJR fine. Its the Wanderer B size and when folded up fits in my tankbag. Great traveling cover.

My Tour King has lasted a long time as did the one before it for the other bike. I like them because they'll be with the bike when needed where a large/full cover will be back at the house.

The whole point of the post was to find a cover that protected (or hid) what I wanted but was still very compact. The cover you don't bother to take because it is too bulky is the one that never gets used. I have a "full" cover that is only used during off-season storage.

That one looks nice and compact (to store). It would provide needed protection for leather seat and would keep "rider surfaces" dry. The down side is that it apparently does cover mirrors (and my Clearwater Ericas). The Ericas aren't going to be damaged by the wet but I would rather be able to keep them out of sight. Not sure whether it could be used with the Givi V-46 trunk.

Still haven't gotten around to buying one but will probably end out with the Wingstuff one or the large one from Nelson Rigg.

My full-coverage Nelson-Rigg packs into its own sack; about the size of a Martha Stewart sofa accent pillow. I slip it under the strap-down bag that rides on the pillion seat when I'm out on a multi-day trip.

There are large and small versions for the FJR (Tour King). They photos I show are of the smaller one without the accommodations for the trunk. Call them and explain what you're looking for and they can tell you if one for another model or another version for the FJR will be a best fit.

Originally, I got an ST1100 version for the FJR (before they had any FJRs to test fit). Packs small. Affordable enough that you could buy multiples for the cost of a Geeza.
