I have that exact basic Harbor Freight lift, but it has a better front wheel chock and it operates on hydraulics OR air. It's item #94121 on THIS page. When I click on that item, it can't find it so I'm not sure if they're out of stock or maybe don't have it anymore?

Like someone mentioned, it goes on sale and I don't think I paid over $300 for it. Would buy it again.

I have the Sears motorcycle/ATV jack.

It's OK .. but loses lift so don't rely on it to hold the bike up. Returned the first one with that problem, and the second did the same thing, so now I jam a broomstick in there to make it stay up.

There are lock-outs if I can get it up far enough but so far I haven't trusted it enough to know that it will lift the bike STRAIGHT up, i.e. I don't know if the FJR is balanced enough to be able to jack it up on the headers alone.

I like it better than the handy because it has the drop out panel in the rear, it goes higher than the Handy and it has screw adjustable casters so it can be moved around under load. I'm sure it's an import but I have been using it almost daily for 4 years. Both of them are around 7" lowered and the Handy goes up 30" where the Eagle goes up 43".
i haven't measured total lift height but my B.O.B. has those other features.
