I can't find any information on the motorcycle meet in Baker I read about earlier. Did I miss it or was it cancelled? I have been busy this summer house hunting and finally moving. not done yet.

I thought maybe this was one get together I could attend. I also plan to make Rueben run 7.

Thanks for the link assist George.

We're in the final planning stages for the event. Rider number 88 just registered this evening. I'm guessing we'll have about 100 attendees based on past history of signups in the final month before the event. 60% of those registered will be on ST1100/ST1300s, 15% on BMWs and a little over 10% on Yamaha FJRs and Super Ts. You can see the stats at the bottom of the players page. The group has been meeting annually since 1996 and many have moved on to different bikes. I've persoally attended every WeSTOC since my first in 2001. Now that I've been on an FJR for two years and have attended tech days, Reuben Runs and a CFR I can say both groups are comprised of GREAT people who I really enjoy hanging out with. While the Honda ST Owners Club (STOC) and WeSTOC was started as a Honda club/meetup we've been trying to re-brand WeSTOC as a generic Sport Touring event. All are welcome!

We decided to feature just 3 primo rides on the website even though I have about 20 routes in Basecamp. The 'Nirvana' route was simply amazing! At one point we didn't see anther vehicle for over an hour. The quality of the riding/roads, lack of traffic and LEO presence in the area, scenery, etc made it about the best day of riding any of us on the recon could remember. The "suggested' routes are here: https://westoc.org/rides We'll have large format versions of these routes posted in the banquet/meeting room for the duration of the event. It's quite easy come up with numerous variations of the suggested routes.

We also sampled a variety of places to eat in Baker City and the surrounding area. https://westoc.org/event/restaurants

Nice locations Adam!
Yes, there are some <really> good ones on that list George. I missed the first 5 including Missoula back when there were no speed limits in Montana. :) I've heard lots of good stories about that one! ;)

I think this year will be one of the best for ride quality and the venue will be perfect for socialising. The central area between the buildings features a nice courtyard, pool and bar/restaurant. Can't wait to get back down there....

Thanks for all of the input from you guys. I hope to make it for this one if all of the moving work is complete. Got another setback this morning. Discovered a broken irrigation pipe under the concrete RV parking. Boy this house is getting more and more expensive.
